Lily’s Wear White and Drink Pink fundraiser
On 1 June, 100 guests dressed in White and sipped pink Sofi Spritzers in honour of our baby girl.
We were beyond thrilled at the success of our Wear White and Drink Pink Fundraiser.
Can I just say how amazing everyone looked in white? If you are having an event look no further than a white dress code. Although, I dare say it’s best for warmer months, and we have deliberately not chosen it for our Upcoming Sydney Winter Party on 31 August (but more on that later).
Our guests looked fantastic and we were blown away by everyone’s enthusiasm in the auction, especially once the Mana Cold Brew ‘espresso’ martini’s started flowing.
Our talented auctioneer Brett Phelan from Buxton Real Estate sure knows how to warm up a crowd and help get the maximum money donated. Our art work from Laura Wells and Kara Burrowes was hotly contested as was the bottle of Grange. Our winners looked pretty chuffed to be taking home their prizes.

A special mention also to Very Special Kids, Victoria’s only hospice for children that continues to provide us with bereavement support us today and their speaker Nathan for his moving words.
We raised over $10,000 after costs of taking a small reserve to run our Sydney event. This is a massive amount and will enable us to grant that money to support other families of very sick children.
We couldn’t run this fund without Lily and without all of you. As I said in my speech on the night, Lily’s Foundation was set up and born in the most bleak landscape. The landscape you don’t ever want to find yourself in, but it is thrilling to watch it grow in less than two years, to start to blossom into a bigger movement. to see your smiling faces and to be able to think about helping other families like ours.
